Dive is a Hong Kong born musician who put forth his dedication in making music to embracing the simplicity of minimalism. Having based his work station in Washington DC, USA, Dive makes his music a communication tool that interconnects the world and his surroundings together. His new series of work, accented with a variety of acoustic elements and glitch work, is released under the title of "Deconstructed Piano". Like many other minimalists, Dive's work is simple yet emotional. "Deconstructed Piano" is an experimental piece of broken melodies meeting futuristic yet not too otherworldly ambiance. Dive strives for proportion and balance in his constant musical experiments. Recently, he is focusing on the searches for the new possibilities of virtual instruments and lo-fi field recording.-

Dive是一名現居於美國華盛頓港人樂手，跟LWTV為大相徑庭，是他的音樂乃以鋼琴作主導——或者那可以形容為一種Electronica鋼琴音樂。

在Deconstructed Piano裡帶來的六首簡短樂章，那仿如二十世紀的Avant-Garde樂派鋼琴樂曲遇上廿一世紀的簡約Glitch電音配套，原音與電音的交配。像Drop或False Notes那破落的鋼琴旋律，便很有二十世紀現代作曲家作品的風貌。最重要是在Dive作品裡的簡約而輕盈樂韻間，彷彿呈現著一份可教人動容的真善美。 --- by 袁智聰 (Mcb Onl-line)
